The best camera is the one you have with you!

So, if you want one that fits in your pocket or purse, buy a point and shoot, or just use your phone.

We use Nikon and Cannon DSLR cameras with interchangeable lenses.

If you want to learn about exposure and change lenses, try a few brands out and see how they feel in your hand. Remember that they are heavier and bulkier than a "point and shoot" camera so consider that aspect. It is more important to purchase good lenses for your photography, as all the new camera bodies are pretty equal. Choose the camera body with the features you think you will want to use.

Lastly, Take Care of Your Camera Investment.

You will enjoy years of use and picture taking if you learn to care properly for your camera and equipment. Always check your battery and memory cards before shooting, and have back-ups with you.

Have fun and respect your subjects and environment!
